NAVUG Focus 2016 Recap

We recently had the opportunity to attend and speak at the inaugural NAVUG Focus 2016 event in Chicago where Microsoft Dynamics NAV customers attended sessions focusing on Manufacturing, IT, and Finance.
Kudos go to the organizers for pulling together such a great first-time event. It even drew a record number of attendees.
For our part, we presented a session covering Inventory Management Best Practices for Manufacturing where we reviewed a range of approaches and tools that drive effectiveness and efficiency, including:
- collaborative planning with key customers and vendors
- evaluating historical demand
- branch replenishment
- time-phased expected inventory
